Hi, I’m Patty Barker, a concerned parent of public school students and a PTA member.   Welcome to the parent website of Next Step for Arkansas’ Future.  About 20 percent of the state’s high school students don’t graduate.  That’s just unacceptable.  All students need a high school diploma to be ready to attend college or to enter the workforce. 

As parents, we want to help our children succeed.  One way to do that is to encourage them to take the Smart Core curriculum in high school.  When we challenge our kids, they achieve more.  Please, look around and get to know the program.  Thanks for stopping by.
